At last, we have just had our first night away sin At last, we have just had our first night away since February at a great little site, West End Farm at Arlingham. We even managed a cheeky pub stop on our dog walk. All very exciting after months of lockdown #arlingham #campervanadventures #westendfarmcampsite

If you are looking for a winter pub stopover look If you are looking for a winter pub stopover look no further than The New Inn at Willersey. Great pub and lovely walks into Broadway.

Thankfully we don’t have the snow yet, this phot Thankfully we don’t have the snow yet, this photo was taken while we were skiing in Scotland a couple of years ago but the weather has been damp and the days are shorter. For some people they put their Motorhome to bed for the UK winter, but you don’t have to. There are some great all year round campsites. This one in Braemar had a great drying room for all your gear.
Check out my latest blog post (link in bio) for tips on touring in winter and a few great winter campsites in the Cotswolds.

One of our favourite city stops while we were tour One of our favourite city stops while we were touring Northwest Spain. Even better there is a free Motorhome parking area within walking distance of the city centre. (42.604656 -5.585165). I would recommend getting there early as it is a popular stopover and fills up quickly. #motorhomestopover #leónspain #travelblog #campertravels #sunnydays
A stunning DRY day for a walk around the white hor A stunning DRY day for a walk around the white horse at Uffington. Only problem was we have had soooo much rain it was a ‘little’ muddy in parts. If you are in the Pays de Loire region of France c If you are in the Pays de Loire region of France check out the village of Turquant. It is not far of the A85 so makes a good stopover if you are travelling down through France. Unfortunately when we visited it wasn’t blue skies as it had been raining but it was still lovely for a wander round.
At the end of the Middle Ages during the Renaissance a ‘trodlodyte civilisation’ developed in the Turquant region. In the underground tunnels quarrymen and traders lived in hiding.
If travelling in your motorhome or campervan there is a lovely free aire in the village (47.223801 0.029189). If this is full there is additional parking just a bit further on as well. #adventuresinourvan #turquant #paysdeloire #freestopover #frenchaires
