Ye Olde Swan Campsite Review at Radcot, Oxfordshire

We visited this campsite on the hottest weekend of the year so far, Easter Bank Holiday. We got to the campsite early on the Friday morning so managed to get a river front pitch. As the day went on the field filled up, I would say to pretty much capacity.

The campsite is located in the village of Radcot in Oxfordshire. Radcot is famous for its bridge which claims to be the “oldest bridge on the Thames”, having been built around 1200. The bridge was severely damaged during the Wars of the Roses and was later rebuilt as it appears today, with a flattened centre arch.

The Thames Path National Trail runs right passed the campsite. This trail is 180 miles long and runs from the flood barrier in London to the source of the river near Kemble. The campsite is in the Tadpole Bridge to Lechlade Section of the trail.

So how would I review this campsite…
