All of our overnight locations and budget, touring Norway for six weeks

We arrived back home after a detour to the NEC to the Motorhome Show to have a look at some different camper layouts. We love our campervan layout but as we are planning longer trips we quite fancy a fixed bed plus LPG and a solar panel would be useful. Watch this space our next blog could be from a different van.

We loved Norway and I would recommend it to anyone who loves amazing scenery and the great outdoors. The people we met were so friendly and it is extremely campervan friendly. As already mentioned in our blog it is expensive, particularly alcohol but as you can camp for free plus with the great service points this means that you can tour Norway on a budget. We spent just over £2500 with 80% of that expenditure going on fuel, food, ferries and the tunnel.

We drove 184 miles today to get home so in total our Norway adventure was 6571 miles. Over the six weeks we also walked 212 miles. The map below shows all of our overnight stops in Norway.

We have discussed at length which was our favourite place and we cannot actually decide, I think that shows what a great trip it was. I love the photo of Andy as we were walking near Odda, if there is a rock to climb he has to do it – long may that last!

Now the planning starts for the next one……….
