One more night in France

Day thirty-nine and we only have one more sleep left before heading back to the UK tomorrow. We had a vet appointment at 9am to get Finn wormed and his passport stamped. Unfortunately when I got there they had the appointment for tomorrow but they still managed to fit me in otherwise we would be changing our tunnel crossing as dogs have to wait a minimum of 24hours after seeing the vet before they can travel.

After the vets we did a quick trip to Carrefour to stock up on a few things for home and fill up on diesel.

We then did a nice long forest walk just outside Saint Omer as poor Finn hasn’t had a really long walk over the last couple of days as we have been doing long drives. For a picnic lunch in the forest we had a stereotypical French meal of baguette, pate and cheese, followed by cake from the patisserie of course. I think we managed to tire Finn out a bit!

Tonight we are in a campsite we have stopped at quite a few times before that is not too far from the vets in Saint Omer. I think we are even in the same pitch we have been on before.

imageWe are the only people on the site, and that includes not seeing the owner, so it should be a quiet night and hopefully we will find someone tomorrow to pay.
